Are You Ready For California Live?

ROSTER INSTRUCTIONS:

Attached you will find a spreadsheet that should be downloaded, filled out, saved (use school name i.e. “Capo Valley Christian roster”), and emailed back to customersuccess@grassroots365.com as an attachment for submission. Please be sure to fill out ALL required information for the head coach, assistant coach(es), and players as outlined below. Include the school’s name and role (Head coach, assistant coach, player) for each person as well.  Please note you are limited to 15 players and 4 staff members.

Cost to attend games for all spectators will be $10 per person, regardless of age. All tickets will be sold via the GoFan app and available June 1st.

Please note that all teams need to be able to play as early as noon on Friday, June 16.  Each team will play at least one game on Saturday, June 17 and Sunday, June 18 for with a guarantee of four games.  

-All coaches should have their teams arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to game time.  
-Coaches should work with their players, staff and supporters to help maintain positive behavior while participating in the event.  This includes interactions with officials and supporters of the opponents. 
-Coaches are required to be properly dressed.  This includes a polo or button down shirt, no hats, no sandals/slides, no backpacks and no headphones/earbuds.  
-Coaches will make sure that the bench and surrounding area is clean following each contest.
-There will be no locker rooms available.

-All teams should wear regular season uniforms and all should be the same color.
-The jersey numbers should match the roster provided.

-All NFHS rules apply with the following exceptions:
    -Two 16-minute stopped clock halves
    -Three minute halftime
    -Four 30-second timouts per team
    -Five fouls = foul out
-Bonus (1+1) will occur on the tenth team foul or on the 2nd foul which occurs in the final two minutes of the game if the score is under 10 points. 
-Any player ejected for fighting, will result in that player being removed from the remainder of the tournament

California Live 2023

1. All schools traveling to Orange County Live and participating in California Live are required to stay in one of our host hotels
2. Each hotel has its own unique pricing to accommodate your school’s team, as well as parents and boosters who will be staying in Orange County to view the games
3. In addition to discounted hotel rates, some if not all hotels are offering free or reduced breakfasts, free Wi-Fi, and free or reduced parking.  You will need to look at the link for each hotel to see what concessions they are offering.

1. Look below for all hotel possibilities with links.
2. Click on each hotel link to determine the price and discounts being offered at each property.
3. Determine which property you would like to stay at
4. Go to the booking icon to reserve the number of rooms needed and complete the reservation process.
5. Each hotel has blocked off a designated number of rooms for teams and boosters to stay in. After those rooms are reserved, the hotel may release additional rooms for more teams or boosters based on availability.
6. If the property you are requesting is full you will need to select another hotel from the list
7. Rooms are reserved by the hotel on a first come basis.  
8. Parents or others in your travel party are eligible to reserve rooms through the SCIBCA website and receive the same pricing. Please pass the reservation procedures onto them.
